A Texas teen, 19-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmos, has been missing since Christmas Eve and is considered to be in “immediate danger,” according to the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. She was last seen that morning, reportedly leaving her home on foot after being captured on security camera searching a vehicle. Her car was left behind, and she only took her keys and possibly her driver’s license.
The investigation involves multiple agencies, including the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security, and is exploring various possibilities for her disappearance, including kidnapping or human trafficking. Mendoza-Olmos, who was in a mutual breakup that authorities believe wasn’t malicious, left her phone behind, which is unusual for her.
Sheriff Javier Salazar emphasized the urgent nature of the situation and asked the community to assist in the search, particularly by checking surveillance footage. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.
