Four Army soldiers are facing legal proceedings for sexual assault related to an incident involving a college student at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington. Charged in April, the soldiers include Cpl. Pedro Angel Lewis, Pvt. Deron J. Gordon, SPC. Jadon Bosarge, and Karon Culiel, each facing multiple charges, including sexual assault and conspiracy to commit sexual assault. Lewis’s trial is set for November, while Gordon has pleaded guilty, with a hearing scheduled for September 3. The charges could lead to decades in prison for each soldier. Military officials have stated that the assaults occurred simultaneously, with all soldiers present. Court cases will continue next month at the same base.
