Delta Air Lines is introducing new “Classic” and “Extra” hierarchical experiences for greater selection and customization of travel options. Starting October 1st, customers will enjoy updated branding and experiences on Delta.com and the Fly Delta app. Eric Phillips, SVP and Chief Digital Officer, emphasized the importance of clarity and choice for travelers, accommodating varying priorities for business and leisure trips.
The revamped booking experience allows travelers to tailor their journey according to budget and preferences. Current bookings made before September 30th will retain existing experiences, but new branded options will be available for flights after October 1st. Delta assures that regardless of the selected option, the quality of service remains consistently high, supported by a dedicated team of over 100,000 employees.
